My name is Corey Dillon. I am a husband, father, coach, author, and triathlete. I spent most of my career working in the investment management industry, and shifted gears several years ago to co-found a Denver based corporate wellness firm. Today, I help provide custom corporate wellness programs to local businesses, I coach runners and triathletes of all abilities, and I serve as a trustee to a New York based investment company.
Above all else, I am a grieving dad who is trying in vain to come to terms with losing a child to mental illness. This site is a way for me to remember my daughter, and to focus on the kindness she left in her wake. Kindness she so willingly and freely bestowed on others, and yet could not extend to herself.
I remain heartbroken that what began a couple years ago as a blog to advocate for my oldest daughter has now turned into a way to remember her and the legacy of kindness she left behind. Rivena Dillon died from depression when she took her own life on January 28, 2018. This site is dedicated to the kind, compassionate, and thoughtful soul we were lucky to know during her 25 years in this universe. We are committed to promoting kindness and acceptance toward others as part of Rivena’s legacy, and invite you to join us by sharing this page or sharing your own story.
